From Germany to the Kingdom: MS Mercan Yildirim’s Visionary Journey to Riyadh

In June, our CEO, MS Mercan Yildirim, traveled from Germany to Riyadh for a visit centered on connection, discovery, and collaboration.

Beyond business, the journey offered a wonderful opportunity to immerse in Saudi culture, experience the renowned local hospitality firsthand, and reconnect with good friends and acquaintances across the city.

Cultural Discovery & Warm Connections

Every step of the trip was marked by genuine respect and warm welcomes. Exploring Riyadh provided a deeper understanding of the country's rich heritage alongside its vibrant, evolving landscape.

During the visit, MS Mercan had the pleasure of:

Constructive Discussions with the Tourism Sector

The trip also provided an engaging environment for thoughtful discussions. MS Mercan met with representatives from the Ministry of Tourism as well as local hotel management teams to discuss potential IoT (Internet of Things) initiatives.

These conversations focused on how technology can subtly enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency in a way that respects local hospitality traditions. We look forward to seeing how these gentle ideas unfold in the future.

Looking Ahead: Returning for LEAP in Late August

This visit strengthened our ties and deepened our appreciation for the Kingdom. MS Mercan Yildirim looks forward to returning to Riyadh in late August for the LEAP event to continue these conversations and catch up with partners once again.
